Staff were very caring & were focused 100% on what I needed especially during a very difficult period.

After initial review & completing an online course over 3 weeks, my date for assessment took around 4 months. During this time it would have been helpful to have had some contact with the service instead of left wondering & worrying what was happening.

Hello I'm Mrs kirsty Hardie I received therapy since 19 years Old I'm 35 now and I was so ready even though avoidance was my first response I met Megan and automatically felt happy about working with my coping restrictions and moving forward with my therapist firstly she is amazing, incredible and mostly compassionate I never felt uncomfortable with Megan she is your hidden gem incredible experience and would highly recommend Megan to anyone!!! Inspirational and excellent at putting a positive twist on coping strategies four years I've struggled in my safe prison to be so lost within and no way out of your own thoughts amazing I'm a better version of myself than four years ago or infact ever for that matter.personal message to Megan if she sees this! I will forever be thankful for the chats and compassion you showed towards my situation and the skills you shared with me in order to move forward with out having so many core boundaries restricted by myself, I guess thank you for helping me find me! I've been under adult mental health service since 19 years old I don't have any negative feedback on Basildon adult mental health services I've always had a wonderful experience well..... Given my circumstances and unfortunately my crisis at those times I've always been helped and shown better communication and compassion within the past and I congratulate the service for how far they have excelled well done Basildon adult mental health services!!!!

All the stuff that has been asked above has been very good. You are easy to talk to Nursac and have a conversation with.

Starting therapy sooner as it dragged out at the start.

Having a Doctor who finally understands and finally getting support, albeit ridiculous waiting times for some of the help I need. That, though, isn't down to the staff. I finally feel heard.

The CST group was fantastic, my mother attended every session as she enjoyed it each time, we did notice the stimulation worked for her dementia while she attended. A big shout out to Steve & Katie who took the groups each week, both are amazing and very professional and friendly in their approach. Shame it couldn't go on any longer bit understand there are so many others that need this therapy.

Nothing, was very happy with the service provided so can not suggest anything else.

The experience I had with this current negative episode of Mental Health I found to be far more comprehensive and supportive than any previous presentations I have made over the last 10-15 years. I felt listened to and validated and understood almost totally. I had regular contact and everything explained to me. With the involvement of the team from IAPT who picked up my case historical involvement was discussed and gaps in the treatment I have received over the last few years was highlighted, acknowledged and included in the decision over what services I needed. The GP's I spoke with were very supportive and inclusive of my whole person as a patient. The Assessment worker at IAPT was great and was thorough with her assessment, taking time to discuss each question/issue with me thoroughly. I have absolutely no complaint about anything so far!

The only issue I have is that this has taken so long for me to get to this stage and I wish it had been done in this way several years ago.
